Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in manual therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by a licensed physical therapist.
  • Apply evidence-based modalities to patients according to established procedures and Plan of Care.
  • Train patients in exercise techniques, ambulation, activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment, and positioning aids.
  • Document patient progress by adding to ongoing records such as progress notes.
  • Refer patients to other services when appropriate.
Certifications/Licenses Required
  • Current State of Maryland or Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Requirements
  • 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts available
  • Orthopedic and post-surgical patients from multiple referral sources

We estimate an annual salary of approximately $55,400 based on a 40-hour workweek and $27 per hour.
