Job Description

Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

CitySprint is seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of teams to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
  • Arrange collections, transit routes, and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
  • Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments.
  • Liaise with Operations departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Provide customers with updates on exceptions or issues.
  • Request and enter PODs from relevant agents.
  • Report discrepancies to Managers.
  • Provide quotes to customers when requested.
  • Monitor emails for the Service Centre.
  • Work with suppliers to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting dispatching vehicles or allocating vehicles.
  • Treats people with respect under all circumstances.
  • Responds promptly and appropriately to customer and supplier needs.
  • Ensures jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Deals with client operational queries effectively and promptly.
  • Is proactive in suggesting improvements to service delivery.
  • Has excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Can self-motivate and work with minimal supervision.
