Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical radiology specialist to take on a challenging and rewarding role in adult community healthcare.

The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in radiotherapy treatment planning, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in MDT meetings and out-patient clinics
  • Contribute to radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery
  • Develop leadership skills within the department
  • Maintain Continuing Professional Development accreditation

Person Specification

  • GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • FRCR qualification
  • Experience in teaching medical students
  • Skills in Clinical Audit and Governance
