About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated clinical workload, including participation in MDT meetings, out-patient clinics, radiotherapy treatment planning, and in-patient care. The role requires leadership skills, with participation in the on-call rota and opportunities to develop expertise within the department. Additionally, the Radiation Oncologist will be expected to provide teaching and mentorship for junior staff and medical students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • FRCR qualification and full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
  • On GMC Specialty Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.
