Catering Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Selkirk House in Plymouth. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Collaborate with the Chef Manager to minimize food waste and optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Escalate any concerns or issues related to food safety, hygiene, or resident well-being.
- Level 2 food safety certificate.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
- Previous catering experience, with a focus on basic food safety and safe use of kitchen equipment.
- Experience working with older adults.
