Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Company's resources to achieve a successful outcome, technically, commercially, safely, and to the client's satisfaction on the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the project and manage the resources on the project on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting while identifying the client's requirements and ensuring they are delivered to the client's satisfaction.
  • Represent the company on any internal or external issues.
  • Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate with the project team regularly on project-specific matters and company initiatives.
  • Manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar.
  • Experience of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme.
  • Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification.
  • Experience of managing procurement, labour, and sub-contractors, controlling contract costs and variations.
  • Experience of co-ordinating M&E Services installations.
  • Compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
  • Experience of managing contract values ranging from £2m and above.
  • BTEC: HNC Building Services.
  • BTEC: ONC Building Services.
  • IOSH directing safely - desirable.
  • CSCS card.
  • SMSTS – desirable.
