Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant/Associate to join our team at the University of Cambridge Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to research on neuroinflammation in frontotemporal lobar degeneration and accelerate dementia treatment development.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
  • PET imaging recruitment and data analysis in frontotemporal dementia and progressive supranuclear palsy.
  • Coordination of ON-FIRE and related studies on blood-based biomarkers.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive project development, deliver research objectives, and present findings to stakeholders. Required qualifications include an undergraduate and/or PhD in neurosciences, psychology, physiology, or related discipline. You should have knowledge of neuroimaging, research methods, and project management skills. Experience in patient recruitment for dementia or mental health research is advantageous.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
