Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Conduct electrical setup and production support to meet factory performance goals
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with factory safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve maintenance objectives
Requirements:
  • Recognized mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in production equipment maintenance in a diverse factory environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent mechanical maintenance skills and knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including stores and maintenance management systems
Working Hours:

You will work a 1758-hour annual roster, consisting of 143 12-hour shifts and 15-minute breaks, with one 6-hour training session. The shift pattern includes 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, and 6 days off. The company aims to provide at least 2 weeks' notice for any changes to the published roster.

Holiday entitlement is built into time off shift, and employees can swap shifts to create more time off. Onsite parking is available, and childcare vouchers and company pension contributions are offered.

Circa £50,000 per annum, with a £250 annual tool allowance, overtime opportunities, and other benefits.
