About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison in South East London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality pharmacy service, assisting with team supervision, and providing expert advice on medicines management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to provide a comprehensive pharmacy service
- Assist with the supervision of pharmacy staff and provide guidance on medicines management
- Develop and implement effective pharmacy policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development of the pharmacy team and provide training and support as needed
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience of working in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a prison or secure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
