Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply chemicals to plants, trees, and grass to enhance plant growth and control weeds and pests.
  • Maintain a good standing state-specific chemical applicators license.
  • Acquire and store pesticide and herbicide solutions; mix or dilute specified chemicals or materials according to directions and apply them at the recommended rate.
  • Use outdoor maintenance and power equipment, a variety of hand tools, and legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Communicate with clients to maintain a positive client/company relationship.
  • Maintain records on chemical application activities in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and State and Federal regulations.
  • Install, adjust, and perform minor repairs on application equipment.
  • Instruct team members, as required, in applying sprays, dusts, and other materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one-year experience in the industry or related field.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Heavy work: lifting up to 100 pounds; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
