Key Responsibilities:- Apply chemicals to plants, trees, and grass to enhance plant growth and control weeds and pests.
- Maintain a good standing state-specific chemical applicators license.
- Acquire and store pesticide and herbicide solutions; mix or dilute specified chemicals or materials according to directions and apply them at the recommended rate.
- Use outdoor maintenance and power equipment, a variety of hand tools, and legally operate a motor vehicle.
- Communicate with clients to maintain a positive client/company relationship.
- Maintain records on chemical application activities in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and State and Federal regulations.
- Install, adjust, and perform minor repairs on application equipment.
- Instruct team members, as required, in applying sprays, dusts, and other materials.
- Minimum of one-year experience in the industry or related field.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record is preferred.
- Heavy work: lifting up to 100 pounds; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
