Job Title: Ward Sister/Charge Nurse - Acute Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team on our 24-bed Acute Medicine ward. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and contributing to the overall success of our ward.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in acute medicine, with experience in leading and managing nursing staff. You will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating their effectiveness. You will also provide daily clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be expected to:

  • Assess patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
  • Provide daily clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
