Job Title: Network Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our busy CCTV department as a trainee engineer. The successful candidate will undertake a Networking Engineer Level 4 apprenticeship, which will provide them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MEWP equipment safely and efficiently
  • Service and maintain public space CCTV systems
  • Install and configure wireless solutions from specifications
  • Undertake PAT testing and fire alarm/emergency lighting testing/maintenance
  • Diagnose issues and disclose incidents
Desirable Skills and Personal Qualities:
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Good telephone manner and time management skills
  • PC literacy and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
Entry Requirements:
  • A-Level in ICT or equivalent qualification
  • International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT or equivalent qualification
  • A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject or equivalent qualification
  • BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits) or equivalent qualification
