My client, a global manufacturer, is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering department in Essex. This role offers the opportunity to develop and challenge your skills, while also ensuring you have the chance to progress and advance your career.

You will be responsible for providing maintenance on state-of-the-art equipment, contributing to continuous improvement projects, and supporting long-term plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and plan maintenance and corrective actions in the area from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  2. Ensure compliance with the Company's health and safety standards at all times and maintain clean and tidy workstations
  3. Drive continuous improvements within your area, collaborating with other departments
  4. Awareness of site performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting others to achieve safety targets

Requirements:
  1. Manufacturing experience
  2. Multi-skilled (mechanical or electrical)
  3. Knowledge of health and safety
Shift: Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
