Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to provide technical expertise for water and wastewater facility projects.

About the Role:
  • Lead electrical engineering efforts on various projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Supervise less experienced staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and engineers from other disciplines to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed electrical designs, taking into account client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering and design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Revit BIM software and SKM power systems software a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the NEC and related codes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with clients and contractors.
  • Professional Engineering License required.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
