Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled EC&I Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical design of equipment, creating and developing electrical design and electrical wiring schematics, producing Bill of Materials (BoMs), and supporting other engineers when required.

A competitive salary of circa £45,000 per annum is on offer for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

As an EC&I Engineer, you will have a strong background in electrical engineering and excellent design skills.

You will be working closely with other teams to ensure standards are being met and liaising with them to deliver high-quality results.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled EC&I Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative electrical designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure that all electrical design work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Developing and maintaining electrical design documentation, including schematics and BoMs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other colleagues.
Requirements:
  • HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience producing schematics for electrical design.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a C&I Design Engineer or relevant role.
  • Good PLC understanding – ideally Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
