We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized trade counter area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customers receive their products on time.
  • Maintain a clean and organized trade counter area, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in stock take activities, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to urgent issues, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a trade counter or sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using software applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
