About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to join our team at Ocado Logistics. As an HGV driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, with rates ranging from £17.06 to £24.68 per hour, depending on the time of day and shift pattern. In addition to your hourly rate, you will also receive paid breaks and overtime opportunities.

Job Description

As an HGV driver at Ocado Logistics, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and delivering it to our smaller regional sites
  • Operating a variety of Large Goods Vehicles, including articulated lorries and rigid vehicles
  • Ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and efficiently, in line with company procedures
  • Working a flexible shift pattern, including nights, late shifts, and weekends
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid Category C+E driving license
  • A safe and competent driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
