Job Title: HGV Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HGV driver to join our team at Alsford Timber Limited. As an HGV driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV vehicles to transport goods to customers
  • Ensure compliance with driver hours regulations and working time directive
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication

Requirements:

  • HGV Licence
  • Full CPC and Digi Card
  • HIAB Licence (preferred)
  • Full Clean Driving Licence (preferred)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm with a rest day every other week.

Training and Development: Full training will be offered to successful candidates who do not hold a HIAB license.

Experience: At least 6 months of driving heavy goods vehicles.

Assessment: A theory and practical assessment will be required before employment.

License Check: Candidates will be asked to provide a DVLA Licence check code before the interview.
