About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with jurisdictions accounting teams to deliver exceptional client service
- Assist with the management of day-to-day accounting services
- Support client relationships for allocated portfolios
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP
- Carry out preparation of consolidated reporting and financial statements
- Lead year-end and audits, ensuring regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines are met
- Implement and improve processes while maintaining compliance and documenting procedures
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting skills
- Experience in real estate funds or asset management environment
- Comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS, and related preparation of statutory financial statements
- Strong communication skills and business partnering experience
