Job Title: Senior Fund Accountant

GP Fund Solutions is a leading provider of fund administration services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in fund accounting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing cash reporting. They will also assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements and communicate with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform treasury functions, including reconciliation of bank accounts and preparation of cash reporting.
  2. Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry-specific accounting software.
  3. Prepare assigned workpapers for fund products within the quarterly reporting cycle.
  4. Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements.
  5. Prepare and manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquiries.
  6. Assist in the preparation of capital activity (capital calls and distributions).
  7. Communicate with clients and team members.

Requirements:

  1. ACA or ACCA qualified.
  2. A minimum of 4 years of related experience, with at least 2-3 years of experience post-qualified.
  3. Proficiency with software-related products, such as Microsoft Excel.
  4. Leadership or management duties in recent roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
  2. CPA.
  3. Private fund administration experience.
