Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager/Controller to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the costs, monthly reporting, budgeting, and business partnering for the manufacturing division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full preparation and control of the production and manufacturing accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular group reports, including monthly management accounts, cash reporting, and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs while improving reporting accuracy
  • Periodic site visits
  • Reconciling key balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  • Compliance activities: audit, tax, and statutory returns
  • Providing technical accounting guidance where needed, including UK and international GAAP
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of plans and forecasts

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in financial management, with experience in a similar position. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams and other stakeholders.
