Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team in Portree High School. As an Area Cook 3, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operational requirements of the catering service, including preparing and serving meals, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

You will work closely with the school's administration team to plan menus, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics. Your role will also involve direct participation in the provision of a multi-choice traditional or cash-cafeteria catering service, encompassing production, ordering provisions, cash collection, and banking of Highland Council monies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Relevant culinary qualifications and experience

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures

* Basic knowledge of budget management and inventory control
