Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Chef Leader to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
The successful candidate will have two years' experience managing a culinary team in the care or hospitality sectors and hold a relevant catering qualification – City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate passion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality culinary standards to residents.
As a Head Chef Leader, your focus will be to manage and lead a culinary team that provides nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service that contributes to the overall well-being of the residents.
Your estimated salary will be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing menu planning and costing strategies to ensure efficient food production and resource allocation.
- Liaising with dietary teams to develop personalized meal plans for residents with specific dietary requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service through effective training and supervision of kitchen staff.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP and food hygiene standards.
