About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse or Clinical Sister. This is a permanent position that requires strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Coordinate patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as medicine and surgery, to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and department efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nurses, promoting professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Department nursing.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in improving patient care and department operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address departmental challenges.
