Deputy Engineering Manager

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Engineering Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving task completion and contributing to team oversight.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support the leadership of the Engineering team in various capacities.
* Take ownership of specific initiatives, including process enhancements and the adoption of the AS9100 standard.
* Conduct 3D CAD design, from initial concept to full-scale production, ensuring the creation of precise engineering drawings and adherence to the Engineering Change Management process.
* Monitor and achieve project benchmarks related to time, cost, quality, and weight.
* Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
* Act in place of the Engineering Manager when necessary.
* Be prepared for occasional international travel to engage with a diverse client base.

**Requirements:**

* Experience with 3D CAD software, particularly Siemens SolidEdge, is highly beneficial.
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to production.
* A Mechanical Engineering degree or comparable experience, with at least 10 years of industry involvement post-graduation.
* Strong communication abilities, both oral and written.
* A collaborative team member with a proactive mindset.
* Capable of performing under pressure, juggling multiple tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
* Prior experience in Aircraft Cabin Interior Engineering would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
