Conference and Banqueting Assistant

Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Conference and Banqueting Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Conference and Banqueting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of meetings and conferences, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up meeting and conference rooms to hotel standards and client specifications
  • Meet and greet guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Service meeting and conference rooms for coffee breaks, lunch, and other events as needed
  • Liaise with the Conference and Banqueting Office to ensure function sheets are up to date
  • Maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, uniform, appearance, body language, and conduct at all times
Requirements:
  • Conference and Banqueting experience within the hotel/hospitality sector
  • Calm, efficient, professional, and organized approach to work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong level of English competency
  • Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
  • Good standard of health/level of fitness, and ability to work early and late shifts
