We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Gi Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assure the quality of all products purchased from suppliers
- Provide assistance and support to internal issues or outgoing inspection where required
- Drive the quality culture across the business
- Complete quality assurance activities for all products, including receipt inspection and end-of-line firewall
- Assist with supplier PPAP submissions, working within IATF16949 standard
- Inspect incoming parts against FAIRS and ISIR
- Maintain all measurement equipment in line with the calibration system
- Assist in CAPA using quality toolbox and 8D
- Ensure understanding and compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times
- Assist in maintaining externally accredited certifications and working within relevant guidelines
- Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications
- Ability to use intermediate measurement equipment
- Ability to analyze and report data and/or measurements analysis
- Understanding of business systems such as OneERP/SAP
- Ability to work well within a team and identify when a team approach is required
- Desire to complete and gain Quality Qualifications, working progressively towards achieving a Quality Assurance Technician status
