About the Role

The In Care Survivors Alliance is seeking an experienced professional to lead one of six Support Coordination Teams within Future Pathways, a trauma-informed service delivering personalized assistance to individuals who experienced abuse or neglect in the Scottish care system.

This leadership position requires substantial experience in managing teams, particularly those responsible for their own caseloads, combined with demonstrated strengths in effective negotiation, influence, and risk management.

The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of trauma-informed service delivery, resilience, empathy, and a strong capacity to empower both team members and the survivors they support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a compassionate and empowering environment for the team and survivors
  • Lead one of six Support Coordination Teams within Future Pathways
  • Deliver trauma-informed, personalized assistance to individuals who experienced abuse or neglect

About the Team

The In Care Survivors Alliance offers two key services: Future Pathways and The Redress Support Service. These services are dedicated to fostering resilience and well-being through collaborative expertise.

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a recognized professional qualification in a relevant field, such as Health and Social Care, Social Work, or Psychology, equivalent to SVQ Level 4 and ideally to degree level.

The estimated salary range for this role is £42,759 to £46,921, based on the location and industry standards.
