As a Nuclear Project Scheduler at PWHytek Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. We are currently recruiting for several Planners & Senior Planners to support a major defence project on an initial contract inside IR35 on 12 month contracts which are highly likely to extend thereafter or on a permanent basis.

The role is centered around a major engineering and manufacturing project for a nuclear engineering client and initially will involve early engagement activities to assess what needs to be done in concept design, which will be followed by detailed design.

You will use process & planning tools such as Primavera P6 to manage project timelines and resources, and apply your expertise in Microsoft Project and Excel to track progress and identify areas for improvement. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including hybrid working, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need an engineering or scientific HNC (or equivalent), 5 years+ project planning experience, knowledge and experience of using process & planning tools such as Primavera P6, well versed in the use of computer packages such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint, and experience planning a nuclear project.
