About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audio Technology Lead to drive best practices, own quality, and deliver cutting-edge audio technology features within PlayStation Studios.

  • This includes scheduling, overseeing, and directly building tech features used on multiple game titles simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with other game production departments and platform teams to develop workflows and foster relationships with external departments such as sound and music.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of audio technology for departments, studios, and platforms.
  • Technical support for junior team members.
  • Future development of audio systems to be used on multiple projects.
  • Driving external audio technology development.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of C++ experience.
  • In-depth DSP knowledge and experience.
  • Game audio middleware experience (Wwise, FMod etc) is a plus.
  • Audiotoolkit plugin development experience.
  • Unreal Engine experience a plus.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Hybrid - London, UK.
