Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including stock control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that budgets are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a retail management role, with a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
