We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rehabilitation services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Medical Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, you will be expected to:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients with complex rehabilitation needs, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our rehabilitation services, including the design and delivery of education and training programs for staff.
  • Participate in the management of our ECU unit, which manages higher-risk surgeries, and support a 24/7 service across Anaesthetic/ITU.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT
  • MRCP / FRCA
  • Demonstrates flexibility
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, relatives, nurses and other staff and agencies.
