Job Title: Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have completed training in Rehabilitation Medicine and have experience in managing patients with complex neurological disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take primary responsibility for the medical care and rehabilitation of in-patients on the RHRU.
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary teams on the ward, supporting the Unit Director and providing supervision to junior medical staff.
  • Contribute to teaching and training, as well as to audit and research.

Requirements:

  • GMC Registration
  • CCT in Rehabilitation Medicine (or entry expected within six months of interview date)
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Training in specialist neurorehabilitation and management of patients with complex neurological disability

  • Essential:
    • GMC Registration
    • CCT in Rehabilitation Medicine (or entry expected within six months of interview date)
    • MRCP or equivalent
    • Training in specialist neurorehabilitation and management of patients with complex neurological disability
  • Desirable:
    • Advanced life support training
    • Post registration training in general internal or other acute medical care
    • MD or PhD
