Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Medical Director to join our Directorate of Mental Health services on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be part of the senior medical management team, supporting the Medical Director and demonstrating visible senior clinical leadership. They will oversee, support, and develop the medical and wider clinical workforce and service Clinical Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic development of the Directorate to deliver large-scale transformation, high-quality, safe, and effective care, which is robustly governed within a continuous quality approach.
  • Oversee and support the medical and wider clinical workforce, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical leadership strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement the Trust's strategic plan.
  • Ensure that the Directorate is compliant with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
