Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Manager to support an inpatient unit in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional quality, person-centred care to service users, working closely with the Hospital Director to achieve this goal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example to maintain consistently high levels of care
  • Day-to-day management of the hospital, supported by the Hospital Director
  • Promoting professional, clinical training and care planning to maintain the health, welfare and wellbeing of residents
  • Managing and maintaining Registered Nurses
  • Clinical audits and reporting
  • Building relationships with families
  • Staff supervision and appraisal
  • Training of staff
  • Delivering hands-on care when required, including shift work
  • Participation in on-call rotas

Requirements include:

  • A valid NMC PIN
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (5+ years post-reg)
  • Sound clinical knowledge and strong leadership qualities
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

This role is ideal for someone with previous management experience in a hospital environment or strong clinical skills with experience of management at a deputy level. The successful candidate will be ambitious, driven and keen to work towards a Registered Managers position.
