Create a Thriving Community as a Community Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Community Manager to join our team at The Oyster Partnership.

This is an outstanding chance to lead the launch of our newest and most exciting student living experience in Liverpool, a state-of-the-art accommodation building with 420 beds welcoming students from all over the world.

As a Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and energy of this new student hub from the ground up, creating a community where students truly thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to create a warm and welcoming community that feels like home.
  • Planning and executing engaging events to boost resident satisfaction and strengthen ties with universities and local organisations.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager to ensure health and safety compliance and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Leading and mentoring your team, providing feedback, development plans, and fostering a positive, values-driven work environment.

We are looking for a natural people-person with a passion for community building and resident engagement. Your experience in PBSA, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused role will be invaluable.

The successful candidate will have proven skills in event planning, social media management, and customer service, as well as a can-do attitude, flexibility, and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing developer and operator bringing 12 new properties to life across the UK over the next few years.

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Natural people-person with a passion for community building and resident engagement.
  • Experience in PBSA, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused role.
  • Proven skills in event planning, social media management, and customer service.
  • Can-do attitude, flexibility, and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM and booking systems.
