Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Clear IT Recruitment Limited in Mayfair, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for employees accurately and within deadlines.

About the Role: The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day payroll activities, including processing payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with UK payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and within deadlines
  • Assist with the administration of all claims for extra payments and deductions
  • Determine payroll liabilities by checking calculations of Tax
  • Assist with payroll tax filings
  • Compile data summaries of earnings; taxes; leave and non-taxable benefits
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating and analysing information
  • Manage employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Support the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures
  • Lead by example in the collaboration between Finance, People and Culture departments and the Operators
  • Deal with and resolve employee and third-party payroll enquiries
  • Assist in producing monthly and quarterly payroll reports by providing analysis of requested data
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations from risk
  • Contribute to successful internal and external audit results
  • Develop and maintain a user-friendly payroll filing system
  • Handle basic administrative Payroll duties including data entry, and filing

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in payroll/finance or minimum of 2 years practical experience in a payroll administration role. Proficiency in payroll software is essential, ideally Open People and SD Worx. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience and skills are also required.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
