Salary: £50-£60 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Warrington, UK
Duration: 12 months
Job Type: Contract
Role Information:
- Provide nuclear safety input to design projects while ensuring nuclear safety requirements are met.
- Prepare and agree the safety case strategy.
- Ensure works meet the required cost and programme requirements.
- Produce, verify and approve calculations, analyses, design documentation and technical reports.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication between them.
- Lead and participate in hazard identification studies.
- Co-ordinate the production of the safety submission.
- Review and approve design changes.
- Raise quality plans for work packages.
- Produce, verify and approved technical work scopes.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering-related discipline and at least 5-7 years of experience in the nuclear industry. Chartership status or working towards it is also desirable.
