We are seeking an experienced and motivated English Teacher to join our expanding team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, supporting the Head of Department in shaping the vision and direction of English across our school.

The Role:

As the Second in Charge English Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of the English curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Leading on specific initiatives to improve teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Supporting the department's strategic goals and ensuring high-quality outcomes for all students.
  • Mentoring and coaching members of the English team, helping to develop their teaching practice.
  • Taking responsibility for aspects of curriculum development, including literacy initiatives and the monitoring of student progress.

We are looking for an experienced English teacher with a proven track record of success at GCSE and A-Level. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK English curriculum and current educational developments, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
