Job Title: Sports Litigation / Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Location: Central London

Prestigious London law firm is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis and provide case management support including deposition and trial preparation, and document collation and production. The work will be a mixture of commercial litigation with a focus on sports law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake legal research to include preparing chronologies of events and preparing summaries
  • Liaise with Counsel
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of witness statements
  • Coordinate, prepare for and attend trials, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Prepare and file statements of case, court bundles, and other submissions and documents in adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and other proceedings
  • Summarise testimony
  • Assist with the administration of matters including preparing client care letters, time recording, and the engagement of third parties such as Counsel and expert witnesses
  • Check and proofread legal documents
  • Organise and maintain client files such as pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience as a paralegal working in a litigation team
  • Experience in sports law would be beneficial
