Job Title: Commercial Litigation Law Clerk

McKinlay Law is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience working in a litigation team and a strong background in commercial litigation with a focus on sports law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake legal research and prepare chronologies of events and summaries
  • Liaise with counsel and assist attorneys in the preparation of witness statements
  • Coordinate and prepare for trials, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Prepare and file statements of case, court bundles, and other submissions and documents
  • Summarize testimony and assist with the administration of matters
  • Check and proofread legal documents and organize and maintain client files
