Payroll Services Coordinator

About the Job:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, and dealing with all client queries related to these processes.
">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES">- ">
- Liaise with clients and accurately enter payroll data from start to finish.">
- Reconcile payroll to client data, obtain client approval as needed, and issue payroll reports and payslips.">
- Prepare payroll journals.">
- Reconcile weekly and monthly PAYE figures.">
- Prepare BACS files.">
- Administer Pension Auto-enrolment, making necessary declarations to The Pensions Regulator.">
- Produce and distribute pension scheme returns, including notifications of changes in members' status and uploading to the pension provider.">
- Effectively handle queries from clients and HMRC.">
- ">
- Excellent numeracy skills.">
- Thorough knowledge of payroll-related legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, family leave, and pay.">
- Able to manually calculate payroll results and explain calculations/breakdowns to clients.">
- Good understanding of pension schemes and rules.">
- Evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player who can work effectively under changing priorities in a busy department.">
- Natural organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.">
- Flexibility, with longer working hours during busy periods to meet deadlines.">
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.">
Estimated Salary: £28,500 per annum
">Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
