About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Ridgemount care home in Banstead. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our care home, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Overall Management: Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and resident care.
  • Quality Care: Ensure individualized, person-centered care for residents, promoting their well-being and maintaining their dignity.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including health and safety standards.
  • Resident Advocacy: Advocate for residents' needs, preferences, and rights.
  • Effective Communication: Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Problem-Solving: Address challenges promptly and proactively.
  • Training and Development: Support staff training and continuous improvement.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies and critical situations.
