Compliance Manager Role

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Changing Social's compliance programs. This role involves ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, specifically focusing on legal obligations, data protection, contract management, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes affecting the business, with a focus on data protection and security standards.
  • Ensure the company adheres to industry regulations and best practices, particularly in data protection and insurance.
  • Review and negotiate customer contracts, including NDAs, T&Cs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and other legal agreements.
  • Manage customer procurement processes and ensure accurate record-keeping and timely updates on compliance matters.
  • Oversee the entire customer procurement process, from negotiation to completion of risk and security questionnaires.
  • Ensure all compliance documents are updated in both internal and external systems and that insights are shared with relevant teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with data protection policies across jurisdictions, and lead audits or reviews in line with ICO, GDPR, and ISO standards.
  • Manage and update the company's insurance policies based on customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous legal or compliance experience, particularly in reviewing contracts and managing regulatory processes.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terms, including NDAs, MSAs, and security compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with ICO, GDPR, and ISO compliance.
  • Proficiency in contract review, negotiation, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
