**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials for our Children's Nursing programme, ensuring that our students receive a comprehensive and engaging education.
  • Contribute to the design and evaluation of the programme, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and the healthcare sector.
  • Teach across the entire nursing portfolio, providing students with a clear understanding of the Future Nurse Standards for registration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare partners and stakeholders, ensuring that our programme remains relevant and effective.
  • Conduct research and scholarly activity in the field of children's nursing education, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice.

**Requirements**

  • Significant teaching and practice experience in children's nursing, with a proven track record of innovative curriculum development and delivery.
  • Knowledge of contemporary theories and concepts that underpin children's nursing education, including healthcare leadership, medicines management, clinical skills, simulation, and practice-based education.
  • Demonstrable knowledge, experience, and skills within the field of children's nurse education, including a Postgraduate degree in a related subject area or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with substantial post-qualifying clinical experience.
  • Motivation, proactivity, and a commitment to collaborative working, both as a team member and with wider partners.
