As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing and finalizing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
- Preparing tax computations for the same portfolio.
- Reviewing VAT returns prepared by the client.
- Leading audits for Limited companies.
- Supervising junior staff, including reviewing their work and sharing knowledge.
- Building trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries.
- Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
- Working directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

The Successful Applicant
We're looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with previous experience in practice, or an AAT qualified individual studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study. Study support can be provided where needed for the right candidate.
As a successful candidate, you'll have experience leading audits from planning to completion, be adept at the preparation of statutory accounts, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
You'll be a hands-on team player who can also work autonomously, with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and reliability. A can-do attitude and proactive problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
