About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing Services Division as a Machining Technician Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting the production of machined parts, working closely with our engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and setting up various CNC machinery and programs.
  • Undertaking milling, turning, and grinding techniques.
  • Using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Measuring and inspecting parts using verniers, micrometres, and other equipment.

Requirements

  • GCSEs at a minimum of Grade 4 or C in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Relevant work experience or relevant subjects such as Product Design or Engineering.
  • A genuine interest and motivation to work in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
