About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic newly qualified nurses to join our client's growing nursing team, with an opportunity to be part of their Nurse Training Academy. As a staff nurse, you will receive comprehensive training and support while delivering high-quality nursing care to older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct and personalized patient care, including administering medications, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic well-being of residents, contributing your expertise to create comprehensive care plans and foster an inclusive care environment
- Advocating for residents' rights and providing essential emotional support to both residents and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records and documentation, ensuring that all resident information is consistently updated and appropriately recorded
- Staying informed about best practices and participating in ongoing professional development, constantly seeking opportunities for growth and improvement in resident care
Requirements:
- Completion of a nursing degree program and attainment of RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification
- Valid and active UK NMC registration
- Current registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body, ensuring your practice meets the necessary standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact and engage with patients, families, and colleagues
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, demonstrating genuine care and understanding for the well-being of others
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring that your practice is guided by the best principles of nursing
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver the best possible patient care
