A well-established long-standing high-street solicitor client in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. This role will involve working as a residential conveyancer, dealing with a multitude of conveyancing matters, and possessing previous experience working as a residential conveyancer with the ability to run your own conveyancing case loads from start to finish.

The Role

  • Work within the Residential Conveyancing team
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Plot sales and purchases
  • Deeds of Easement
  • Declarations of Trust
  • Deeds of Variation
  • Shared ownership properties
  • Unregistered land
  • Deliver an excellent customer care experience
  • Handle client and transaction through entire lifecycle of the matter
  • Work hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

The Person

  • Knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, with relevant experience
  • Strong drafting and legal document review skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
