Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Writer Assistant to join our team at Future Build Recruitment. As a Bid Writer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Development Manager in drafting, editing, and proofreading bid documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of bid documents, including researching and gathering information, drafting and editing content, and proofreading for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to ensure that all bid documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the bid and proposal process, including industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager, including managing documents, coordinating meetings, and performing other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in writing, research, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and bid process is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is beneficial, but not essential.
